What is META?

Designed to serve the like-minded local churches of Mexico, Camp META is an independent, fundamental, baptist camp and conference ministry in all matters of faith and practice.The Word of God is the source of all preaching, counseling and philosophy of ministry.

 

 

Our name META, is taken from Philippians 3:14 which states,

"I press toward the mark, for the prize of the high calling

of God in Christ Jesus." (KJV)

 

In spanish, the same verse reads:

"Prosigo a la META  al premio del supremo llamamiento de

Dios en Cristo Jesús." (RV60)

 

Camp META is a tool of the local church taking advantage of the outdoors and an atmosphere free of worldly influences to testify to the unbeliever and edify the body of Christ while being careful to magnify Christ in all things.

 

 

Camp META, a mobile ministry since 1992, plans to purchase and develop 40-50 acres of land near the city of Morelia, Michoacán, as the Lord provides the necessary funds.
